Luke 18:13-15

¹³ But the tax collector, ^(A)standing some distance away, ^(B)was even unwilling to lift up his eyes to heaven, but ^(C)was beating his breast, saying, ‘God, be ^[a]merciful to me, the sinner!’ ¹⁴ I tell you, this man went to his house justified rather than the other; ^(D)for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

^15 (E)And they were bringing even their babies to Him so that He would touch them, but when the disciples saw it, they began rebuking them.
